Glen Bailey, the visionary behind LADaMax, has been a driving force in the Australian ladder industry for decades. Formerly the Managing Director of Bailey Ladders, Glen sold the family business to Hills Industries in 1990 and later worked as a consultant and general manager in various industrial sectors. But his passion for safety and quality led him back to ladders
LADaMax Is Founded
In 1998, Glen founded LADaMax with a mission to revolutionise height safety. His goal was to offer a premium, Australian-made alternative to imported ladders, focusing on durability, innovation, and workplace safety.
LADaMax ladders are not mass-produced or sold through big-box retailers—they’re designed for industrial professionals, contractors, and companies that demand the highest standards.
Under Glen’s leadership, LADaMax has:
